HNExpress Staff Reporter : Sonali’s Cubo, in collaboration with The Bhawanipur House, organized “Literary Rendezvous,” an enlightening and engrossing evening that included renowned writer and journalist Sreemoyee Piu Kundu in a thought-provoking discussion with Vayjayanti Saharia Pugalia. Prominent author Sreemoyee Piu Kundu, known for her moving tales and provocative storytelling, offered excerpts from her most recent memoir, Everything Changes. Speaking at the event, Sreemoyee Piu Kundu said “Readers must read memoirs written by authors too. They must not only read memoirs of well-known people like actors, cricketers, and others. They must show their support for authors too. Writing a memoir was not an easy thing. But I persevered and the result is out in the form of this book”. Literary fans, journalists, mental health advocates, and members of the general public observed the discussion and were encouraged to participate in order to help de-stigmatize mental health issues and silence. The “Literary Rendezvous” sought to honor the bravery of people like Sreemoyee Piu Kundu, who, by her bravery and openness, propelled conversations on positive mindfulness into the public domain, promoting empathy and support for those facing comparable difficulties.
