Citizens Park Ladies Group Of Ward 68 Has Come Up With An Unique Initiative ‘Mayer Anno Seva’


HNExpress Staff Reporter : With the starting of Debi Pokkho, Citizens Park Ladies Group of Ward No 68 along with residents of the Ward has come up with an initiative Mayer Anno Seva to honour and serve the elderly underprivileged women of the area. The unique initiative started today in the esteemed presence of Ms Chandrima Bhattacharya, Honble Minister of Finance, Health and Family Welfare, Refugee & Rehabilitation, Government of West Bengal, Ms. Pratima Mondal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Dilip Maharaj, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Mr. Swapan Basu, eminent singer and Ms Sudarshana Mukherjee, Councilor, Ward 68.


“The Citizens Park ladies Group and representatives of each and every Puja of Ward 68 have whole heartedly agreed to participate in providing homecooked food to the have nots, making this social commitment unique. During the festive days, as we worship Ma Durga, we promise not to let our elderly mothers go neglected, said Ms Sudarshana Mukherjee, Councilor, Ward 68.
